Savoir Faire is in the dream fulfillment business.  My speciality is to identify the talent and potential in small businesses and help them launch - or recover - by giving them a completely new identity, and marketing them to their target demographic through out-of-the-box and cutting edge ideas, using today's technology and online mediums.

I have many hobbies and professional skills, but this is my PASSION.  Anyone who has experienced a "Savoir Faire Media Makeover" knows that I emerse myself in my client's business and research everything that exists on the topic. This allows me to develop competitive, informative and robust content for your site.  I dare to be different, with my own marketing, and with that of my clients. Setting myself and my clients apart is the key to my success.

I create customized illustrated caricatures (sometimes referred to as avatars) for my clients by request. It is my signature trademark and can be found on most of my client's websites!

Savoir Faire started as my own dream....originally established after years of my business partner and I doing corporate event planning and marketing. Our vision was to take our experience and creativity and expand that to include social events and weddings. We hit the proverbial ground running and, within the first year, had a highly successful backlog of brides-to-be and bustling companies looking to promote events and host corporate functions. We were featured as The Knot Vendor Partner for the Southeast region. We enhanced our services by creating custom announcements, personalized event websites and e-blasts announcing milestone dates and activities. Over 80% of our new clients said they contacted us because our website, marketing materials, style and robust gallery appealed to them!

We set ourselves apart with an out-of-the-box image, and corporate identity of fun caricatures - with the goal to capture the attention of today's young, contemporary and fun bride. We developed extensive marketing collateral, e-brochures, a customized portfolio in our trademark pink and brown retro, and made a conscious decision to market to a diverse base of clients spanning many ethnicities. This niche approach was very well received, and clients who had previously not been marketed to found our outreach appealing.

We experienced much success and growth over the next few years and expanded again by helping venues and small businesses with their marketing approaches, corporate image, and strategy. Then fate stepped in... and an offer to my husband had me relocating back to the Washington, DC area. My business partner ventured out on her own with Pixie's World (our gallery of events can be found there), and I decided to focus on one of the most successful and meaningful aspects of Savoir Faire...helping new businesses achieve the success we did, by creating an image that embodies who they are and incorporating their vision into every aspect of the planning; by creating an admin portal where they are able to make live updates to their site when THEY wanted - to include photos, videos, blog entries and new content without waiting for an expensive webmaster to make the changes weeks later!

Thus, a new headquarters, a new look - with the same retro feel and fun spirit, and a new business focus was born. As owner of Savoir Faire, I hold accreditations as a Project Management Professional, and Certified Business Continuity Professional.
